We manage frustration

2nd and 3rd cycle of primary and ESO
We manage frustration

Patience – frustration tolerance – emotional awareness – self-regulation

Frustration is an emotion that appears when we do not get what we want. We will train patience, the great antidote to combat this emotion.

Day activities

1. The labyrinth of frustration

In our maze, we will place them in a stressful situation. This will help raise awareness about the way we communicate with ourselves. This greatly impacts our self-esteem, and we will take away tools to ensure that our communication with ourselves is positive. Additionally, we will be able to train patience, an essential tool for situations with a conditioning nature, which helps us improve our tolerance to frustration.

2. The frustration circuit

This circuit will test our patience to the limit. What if we don’t succeed? We will have to go back, again and again, and start over. In this activity, they will train emotional regulation and learn tools to manage frustration.

3. Animals say no

They will visit the animals at the Farm. What do we feel when the animals move away from us? By trying to understand the animals, communicate with them, and see the limits they set, we will work on calmness, empathy, respect, and patience.
