This week we had the privilege of accompanying the Agents Tutors del Baix Llobregat en una formació impulsada per la Diputació de Barcelona, which brings together professionals from more than ten municipalities committed to the welfare of children and adolescents.
The Tutor Programme is a community policing model that works within schools and communities. Its mission is to protect, support and prevent, always in collaboration with educational centres, families and the community. A model that cares, listens and acts from a position of proximity.
A day to learn from experience
The closing ceremony of the programme was held at La Granja Ability Training Center, a space designed to train emotional skills through experiential learning. Throughout the day, agents participated in activities focused on strengthening their personal and relational skills, which are essential in their daily work:
- Leadership with horses, an experience that invites you to become aware of presence, coherence and non-verbal communication.
- Communication dynamics, to explore how we relate to each other, how we listen, and what we need to form secure bonds.
- Emotional regulation, essential in professions where decisions are made under pressure and in constant contact with sensitive situations.
- Outdoor activities, designed to strengthen cooperation, trust and teamwork.
The result was a day full of professionalism, commitment and humanity, where each agent was able to reflect on themselves, review their behaviour and discover practical tools to apply in their work environment.
Training carers multiplies the impact
At La Granja, we firmly believe that when we train those who care for children—whether they are teachers, families, or child safety and protection professionals—we contribute to building safer, more respectful and emotionally healthy communities.
We sincerely thank all agents for their open attitude, willingness to learn, and trust in our team. We will continue working to support the professionals who make a safe environment possible for our children and adolescents.
