La Granja Project
Created in 1984, it was the first school farm in Spain dedicated entirely to kindergarten, primary and secondary school students
With locations in Barcelona (Santa Maria de Palautordera), Madrid (Fuentidueña del Tajo), and Andorra, La Granja connects students with nature, farm animals, and horses while enhancing their emotional competencies. Through activities and adventure circuits, students benefit from the La Granja Method©, a registered approach whose effectiveness—improving the five core emotional competencies of children—has been scientifically validated by the GROP research group at the University of Barcelona. Cada any, més de 20.000 persones passen per La Granja per viure experiències transformadores. Al llarg del curs escolar, escoles i instituts confien en nosaltres per a les seves estades i excursions, mentre que a l’estiu les nostres colònies emocionals acullen infants i joves.
A més, docents, estudiants universitaris, famílies, equips d’empreses, institucions públiques, entitats socials, hospitals, PIMEs i empreses multinacionals visiten La Granja per entrenar les seves competències emocionals a través de vivències pràctiques.
The La Granja Foundation, created in 2010, promotes emotional education as an essential tool for learning and personal and professional growth. In addition, we work to ensure that no child is left without the opportunity to live this experience, subsidising school stays for students in vulnerable situations.
